When you use Human Architecture we collect what you give us: your email address and/or phone number (your contact handle, so you can return to your results and receive readings), your quiz answers, any text or files you add to build your profile, and your birth date and optional birth time/place used to generate your astrology and celestial chart. We also log basic usage events (page views, feature taps, referral clicks) to understand and improve the product. This matches the categories disclosed in our App Store privacy label: contact info (email, phone), user content (quiz answers, text/files), and other data (birth date) — used for app functionality and, for email, product communications.
Your inputs are used to generate your personal readings and to power features you choose to use (daily readings, forecasts, friend comparisons). Your contact handle is used to send you your results and your daily reading. We use a large language model (our AI model provider) to generate your readings from the data you provide.
When you give us your email at sign-up, we send you your results and, by default, a daily reading email — this is clearly disclosed at the point we collect your email ("Get your daily reading by email — unsubscribe anytime"). Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately and permanently; we do not re-subscribe you on a later visit. You can also unsubscribe anytime by emailing hello@humanarchitecture.ai. We use an email delivery provider to send these messages. Because Human Architecture is operated by mjonesone LLC, we may also occasionally email you about our own other products (such as Inbox Hero and numbi); you can opt out of these product emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any such email, and it will not affect your daily reading. We never sell your email address or share it with any third party for their marketing.
Human Architecture lets you invite friends and compare compatibility. If you invite someone (by link, email, or SMS), we use the contact detail you provide only to deliver that one invitation and to attribute the referral. If you arrive through a friend’s invite link, we show you that friend’s public archetype and celestial summary so you can see your chemistry; when you both complete your profiles, a compatibility reading is generated and saved for both of you. Comparisons use each person’s archetype and celestial/quiz-derived traits — never your private raw inputs (birth data, uploaded text, or individual quiz answers), which are never shown to another user.
If you provide your birth date (and optionally birth time and location), we use it solely to compute your astrological, Vedic, Mayan, and Chinese chart and your daily celestial readings. Birth details are private to your account and are never displayed on a public or shared profile — a shared profile shows only your archetype and a general celestial summary.
We do not sell your personal data. Your private inputs (birth data, raw text, quiz answers) are never shown to other users. Public profile pages you choose to share show only your archetype and celestial summary — never your private details. We use service providers (hosting, email/SMS delivery, and our AI model provider) solely to operate the product.
You can view everything you have given us on your Source Material page, unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email, and delete your account at any time from Account & privacy — this removes your account, your sessions, and your contact links. We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Sessions are protected with secure, http-only cookies. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
